Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation
Our approach to treating injuries involves a detailed assessment of the entire body utilizing the most current evidence based practice. The Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA) allows our team to evaluate multiple variables that could be causing your pain. For our athletes looking to optimize performance, the Functional Movement Screen (FMS) provides us objective information on what specific movements need to be addressed to optimize performance.
Utilizing this objective information, we can create a custom treatment plan specifically targeting the cause of your pain and dysfunction; thereby, expediting for your recovery. This technique creates the best chance for you to heal and uses a scientific approach to identifying the problem and fixing it for long-term results. Simply stated, we do not waste time treating factors that are not causing your pain or dysfunction.
Once treatment is finalized, a reassessment is performed to ensure you’re performing at your peak condition.
