Performance Sport & Spine Welcomes New Practitioner

Performance Sport & Spine has announced the addition of a new seasoned practitioner, Dr. Tom Dickerson, DC.  He will continue to advance the mission of Performance Sport & Spine to provide athletes of all ages and skill levels with high quality injury prevention, evaluations, and treatment.

Dr. Dickerson, a Virginia Tech graduate, joins the practice with extensive experience as well as a passion for treating patients with sports-related injuries. Dr. Dickerson holds a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry as well as a Doctorate of Chiropractic (DC) from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa. Prior to joining Performance, Dr. Dickerson spent eight years n Christiansburg, VA overseeing his own chiropractic practice within a personal training center focused on sports medicine and performance. He has treated a wide range of athletes, from beginners in group fitness settings to professional athletes, and also served as the team chiropractor for the Christiansburg High School boys basketball and boys wrestling teams. Dr. Dickerson believes in using physical medicine in conjunction with chiropractic to achieve optimal results for his patients. He regularly collaborates with other healthcare providers to provide the most comprehensive and beneficial care for his patients.
